Rental Terms

1. Booking and Payment 1.1. Booking Process To book the caravan, please contact us via the contact form on the website or by phone. We will confirm availability and send you a booking confirmation. The booking is considered valid after the deposit has been received in our bank account and the confirmation has been issued. 1.2. Payment Terms and Methods We accept bank transfers and cash payments. The deposit must be paid 14 days before the rental period begins. For bookings made less than 14 days in advance, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking. The deposit is considered part of the future rental fee. 1.3. Security Deposit Requirements In addition to the rental fee, a €350 security deposit must be paid. This deposit will be refunded within 7 days after the caravan is returned, provided it is returned in good condition and all terms have been met. 1.4. Cancellation Policy If cancelled more than 30 days before the rental period, the deposit will be fully refunded. If cancelled 15–30 days before the rental period, 50% of the deposit will be retained. If cancelled less than 15 days before the rental period, the deposit will not be refunded. 2. Pick-up and Return 2.1. Location You will pick up and return the caravan at our location in Tartu, South Estonia. The exact address will be provided upon confirmation of your booking. 2.2. Times Pick-up time is typically from 9:00 AM on the first day of the rental period. Return time is by 5:00 PM on the last day of the rental period. Alternative times may be possible by arrangement and subject to availability. 2.3. Condition Check Procedures A joint inspection of the caravan will take place at pick-up and return. Existing damages will be noted. The renter is responsible for any new damages discovered upon return and for the cleanliness of the caravan. 2.4. Late Return Penalties A penalty of €50 per hour or part thereof will apply for late returns, unless a later return time has been agreed in advance. 3. Usage Rules 3.1. Permitted Uses The caravan may only be used for leisure and holiday trips. It must be used safely and responsibly. 3.2. Prohibited Activities Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: i) smoking in the caravan, ii) transporting illegal substances, iii) using the caravan for commercial purposes without prior written consent, iv) exceeding the maximum occupancy, v) walking around in the caravan with outdoor footwear, vi) damaging or deliberately soiling the caravan, vii) being inside the caravan while it is in motion. 3.3. Geographical Restrictions The caravan may be used in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Travel to other countries requires prior written permission and may incur additional costs. 3.4. Maximum Occupancy The maximum occupancy of the caravan is 5 people according to its design and safety requirements. 4. Renter's Responsibilities 4.1. Cleaning Requirements The renter is responsible for returning the caravan in a clean and orderly condition both inside and out. This includes emptying the toilet cassette and waste water tank. A cleaning fee of €80 will apply if the caravan is returned uncleaned. 4.2. Damage Liability The renter is liable for damage to the caravan or its furnishings or loss of equipment that occurs during the rental period, up to the amount of the security deposit. It is assumed that damage to a lamp costs €50/lamp, a blind €75, a window €300, and a tap €125. For damages exceeding the security deposit, the renter is liable for the full cost of repair or replacement. 4.3. Required Documents The primary driver must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid Category B driver's license for at least 3 years. A copy of the driver's license and ID card/passport will be required at pick-up. 5. Owner's Responsibilities 5.1. Maintenance Guarantee We ensure that the caravan is roadworthy and well-maintained at the start of the rental period. All equipment is in working order. 6. Miscellaneous 6.1. Pet Policy Well-behaved pets are allowed only by prior arrangement and may incur an additional cleaning fee of €50. The renter is responsible for any damage caused by pets. 6.2. Smoking Policy Smoking is strictly prohibited in the caravan. Violation of this rule will result in a penalty of €200 to cover deep cleaning costs. 6.3. Additional Fees Additional fees may apply for optional extras (e.g., bedding, outdoor furniture), late returns, uncleaned caravan, damages, or traffic violations.
